Fall Dream Menu

Well today I am going to try something new, I am going to do a "dream menu" for Fall. This is what I would make if I had all the time and money in the world to just cook and bake. I might try some of these recipes at one point in time but who knows.

Appetizer: Crockpot Corn Chowder | Source

I have a love for warm, thick soups, they are just amazing. The warm just makes me think of fall, because eating soups during the summer is just weird, it is great to warm up when the temperatures start to drop.

Main Dish: Apple Spice Pork Chops | Source

I have grown up eating pork chops, and usually they are grilled, that is just how my dad has always cooked. He cooks more on the grill than my mom and I use the oven. It is a major appliance at my house, but this fried pork chops looks really good. To me the apples make me think of the fall, and I love cooking with them, they just add such a good flavor. The onion also adds a good flavor because it offsets the sweetness of the apples.

Side Dish: Vanilla Sweet Potato Fries | Source

Sweet potato fries is probably one of my favorite foods. Any time I go to Red Robbin or a resturant with  sweet potato fries, you can bet I'm getting them. This recipe doesn't look too difficult to make so I might try this one soon, if I do, I'll let you know.  But this looks like a great side to go with the porkchops.

Dessert: Mini Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcakes | Source

This dessert incorporates too of my favorite desserts, cheesecake and red velvet cake. And these little cupcakes just look so adorable, who wouldn't want to eat them? They aren't too heavy and go with the rest of the food on my menu.

Want to see the where all these recipes came from? You can go check out my Pinterest and see all the recipes that I find.

Also you can go like my Facebook page and keep up to date on all the things going on with A Taste of the College Life.

What kind of food is your favorite for Fall?
